Telecom Equipment
The modern definition of telecommunications equipment is considered to be synonymous with networking equipment, since both function in very similar ways and their purposes are intertwined. They both often rely on software in order to function properly, and therefore depend on technicians who both understand hardware and software.
Telecommunication equipment originally referred to the equipment used in a telephone network, but now it includes more modern IT equipment. This includes mobile devices and base stations, PBX equipment for contact centers and even IP telephony, as well as traditional and enterprise networking equipment for LAN and WAN. Modern enterprise networking equipment connects systems and technology in the consumer and business sectors, and also connects private data, voice networks and public switched telephone networks (PSTNs).
The different kinds of telecommunications equipment are as follows:
• Public switching equipment - analog and digital equipment
• Transmission equipment - transmission lines, base transceiver stations, multiplexers, satellites, etc.
• Customer premises equipment - private switches, modems, routers, etc.

Video Conference
Video conferencing solutions are going through dramatic changes. There are two major trends occurring:
• Traditional room based video conferencing is moving to higher and higher video quality with high-definition endpoints.
• New unified collaboration solutions from the majorapplication and telephony vendors promise to bring conferencing to the desktop and mobile users.
Both trends are driving the need for new levels of scalability and device support. As a result, enterprises require a solution that support and protect their current investment in standards-based conferencing solutions, while giving them the flexibility to adopt these emergingconferencing solutions.
To meet the demands of today’s businesses, we provide real-time video solutions for HD video conferencing and collaboration, which include clients for desktops and mobile devices, as well as traditional meeting room systems.

Unified Communications
Unified Communications (UC) is a marketing buzzword describing the integration of real-time, enterprise, communication services such as instant messaging (chat), presence information, voice (including IP telephony), mobility features (including extension mobility and single number reach), audio, web & video conferencing, fixed-mobile convergence (FMC), desktop sharing, data sharing (including web connected electronic interactive whiteboards), call control and speech recognition with non-real-time communication services such as unified messaging (integrated voicemail, e-mail, SMS and fax). UC is not necessarily a single product, but a set of products that provides a consistent unified user-interface and user-experience across multiple devices and media-types.

CCTV Solutions
In today’s fast moving world of technology its important that the correct technology is applied in all areas of business and CCTV is no exception. Many variants of IP Based solutions are available on the market today so it is critical for you that your integrator provides the correct advice
What is IP CCTV?
IP based cameras are the future. They work by turning images and audio into data then transmitting this data over a network or Internet connection. The key benefits of this over analogue CCTV systems are:
• Greater Flexibility
• IP cameras can be installed on to existing Local Area Networks (LAN) Wide Area Networks (WAN) or be transmitted via the internet and/or using wireless technology. The images can then be managed for recording, storage & viewing almost anywhere within a network
• Higher Quality Images
• Whilst IP CCTV has been available for around 10 years, it is only in the last few years that the technology has matured, leading to the developments in Megapixel and High Definition (HD) technology. Take a look at some of our examples and see for yourself.
